The certificate in Conference Management and Event Planning is a comprehensive overview of meetings and event management.  Students will plan, design, budget for, and supply a conference project from the ground up, and during the simulated process, develop the skills and abilities they need to enter into the industry.

The primary components of the program were developed with alignment with CMP-IS (Certified Meeting Professional – International Standards), MBECS (Meeting and Business Event Competency Standards), and EMBOK (Event Management Body of Knowledge) to ensure that students learn the most up-to-date, industry proven competencies and best practices.
